Relatively hot weather forecast Monday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures in Jordan are set to lift 2-3 degrees above their seasonal average on Monday, bringing a mild start to October with relatively hot conditions across much of the country, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said.

Daytime temperatures expected today in Amman and the northern areas will hover around 31 degrees Celsius, while in the southern regions they will stand at 28, dropping down at night to 19,18 and 14 degrees respectively. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will range between a high of 38 degrees and a low of 25, the JMD said.

Mercury levels will cool down over the next two days, bringing back autumn-like conditions with clouds at low altitudes, the JMD said, adding that winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk blowing dust mainly in the southern and eastern regions.
