Hot conditions forecast till Tuesday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures across much of the country will begin climbing on Sunday, as a new heatwave is forecast to hit the Kingdom over the next two days, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said.
Temperatures on Sunday are expected to range between a high of 34 degrees Celsius and a low of 23 in the capital and northern cities, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 41 degrees sliding to 30 at night, the JMD added.
A new hot air mass is expected to take effect over the next two days pushing mercury levels 4-6 degrees above their seasonal average and bringing hot conditions across the country. Winds will be northwesterly moderate picking up at time , the JMD said.
