New ambassadors present credentials

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, Sunday, received credentials of a number of non-resident ambassadors to the Kingdom. Upon arrival at the Basman Palace, the King reviewed a guard of honor as a military band played the national anthems of Jordan and the envoys' respective countries.

Newly-appointed envoys of Fiji, Kamlesh Prakash, Ivory Coast, Gilbert Doh-Djanhoundy, Lithuania, Arvydas Daunoravicius, Somalia, Tahir Mahmood Geely, Albania, Eduard Sulo, Mongolia, Bayarmunkh Chuluun, presented their credentials to the King.

The diplomats laid wreaths on the tombs of King Hussein, King Abdullah I, and King Talal.

Royal Court Chief and the foreign minister attended the ceremony.
