Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Senate President, Faisal al-Fayez, conveyed a message from His Majesty King Abdullah II to President of the Swiss Confederation, Doris Leuthard, regarding relations between the two countries.

In the royal message, King Abdullah stressed keenness to continue coordination and consultation with President Leuthard, on various issues of common interest, regionally and internationally, voicing appreciation for Switzerland's support to Jordan and wished the Swiss people further progress and prosperity.

President Leuthard commended the relationship between the two countries and said she understood the challenges Jordan is facing, due to the current situation in the Middle East.

She also expressed her appreciation for the Kingdom's major role in hosting Syrian refugees and efforts to resolve the region's crises.
