Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Chilly weather is forecast in the highlands and the badia despite a slight rise in temperatures over the weekend. The highs will remain around and under 10 degrees Celsius dropping to the freezing point at night and even below in the southern region, the Jordan Meteorological Department said. Frost formation is also forecast in the highlands and the badia and some parts of the northern Jordan Valley. The weather will be warmer in the southern port city of Aqaba with the highs around 19 degrees Celsius.
