Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Senate on Monday condemned the terrorist attack that took place in the southern governorate of Karak and left 10 people dead and dozens wounded.

"The fallen heroes, who gave their lives defending our nation are the brave men who shed their blood to protect the Kingdom", the chamber said in a statement released today.

While emphasizing that such acts will increase our steadfastness, the statement also said Jordanians are waging a war to root out terrorists and extremists and nip them in the bud.

The Senate also condoled families of martyrs and wished those injured a speedy recovery.

It also condoled family of a Canadian citizen, who passed away in the deadly attack.
