Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Kingdom of Bahrain, on Sunday, strongly condemned the terrorist attack, which targeted a number of police patrols in the southern city of Karak and claimed the lives of a number of members security forces and innocent civilians, including a Canadian tourist.
The Bahrain Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Bahrain stands by Jordan, in the face of terrorist acts. It underlined its firm stance in rejecting terrorism in all its forms and called for the need to promote teamwork, strengthen international cooperation and concerted efforts to eliminate all terrorist organizations that threaten the security and stability of the world.
The Bahraini ministry expressed it's leadership, government and people sincere condolences for the people and families of the martyrs and wished the injured speedy recovery.
Kuwait, on Sunday, strongly condemned the shooting accident that targeted police patrols in the southern city of Karak and killed a number of members of security forces and other civilians and injured others.
A source in the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry said in a statement that his country stands by Jordan and supports its actions to maintain its security and stability.
The statement expressed Kuwait’s deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs, the government and the Jordanian people, wishing the injured speedy recovery.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE), on Sunday, strongly condemned the shooting accident, which targeted police patrols in the southern city of Karak, killing a number of members of security forces.
A UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation statement underlined the UAE firm position in rejecting terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, calling for strengthening teamwork, consolidating international cooperation and collaborating all efforts directed to eliminate terrorist organizations that threaten the security and stability of the world.
In the statement, the UAE expressed its solidarity with Jordan in the face of these cowardly acts of terrorism, which target innocent people and aim at destroying nations and disturbing Arab and global peace and security.
It also expressed its deepest condolences and sympathies to the families of the martyrs, the government and the Jordanian people and wished the injured speedy recovery.
The Palestinian National Reconciliation Government expressed its solidarity with Jordan and said what happened in the southern city of Karak constitutes a heinous crime that represents the forces of evil and darkness' mentality.
In a statement issued Sunday evening, the Palestinian government's spokesman, Yousef Mahmoud said his government expressed its deepest condolences to His Majesty King Abdullah II, the government, the martyrs families and the Jordanian people, over the terrorist attack that took place in the southern city of Karak earlier today.
