Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected, on Monday, bringing them to be higher than their annual average for this time of year, with a pleasant weather conditions in most regions of the Kingdom.
Winds will be southeasterly moderate changing to southwesterly during night hours, with a little chance for light showers on the northern region of the Kingdom, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) At late night hours the weather will become cold and ice formation is forecast, the JMD said. As of Tuesday, the cold air front will take effect, bringing temperatures to dip and rainfall on the northern and the central parts of Kingdom is expected, with thunderstorms. Winds will be brisk stirring dust in southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom, with speeds reaching 60-70 kilometers per hour, the JMD added.
The very cold weather will continue prevailing on Wednesday, with a chance of snowfall on areas located 1200m above sea level, the JMD said.
Flashfloods in low-lying areas and valleys are expected, with JMD forecasts wind speed to reach 60-80 kilometers per hour.
Temperatures in Amman for the coming three days are expected to reach a high of 9 degrees Celsius and a low of 3.
