Ammon News - AMMONNEWS — A young married couple died Monday after being electrocuted in their house in Aqaba, leaving behind a one year old child.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Ali Nejem, 26, and his 24 year old wife, according to Al Rai newspaper.

The two were employed at the Joint Services Council in Aqaba.

When they did not up to work, their employers tried calling them several times to no avail, which prompted them to call their wife's brother, who went to the house, knocked on the door but no one answered.

The brother could hear the child crying, so he broke the door down, which was when he saw the couple dead on the floor.
