King visits PSD, checks on Command and Control Center

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, on Monday, visited the Public Security Department (PSD), where he was briefed by its director, Major General Atef Saudi, about developing police work in PSD sections and units, as well as the traffic system.
Major General Saudi reviewed the department's executive plans, and measures taken to improve security services provided to citizens as well as Jordan's guests.
His Majesty voiced appreciation of efforts exerted by PSD members to preserve security in the country. He also instructed the PSD director to restructure all departments and units in order to improve their competence as well as that of the PSD personnel.
During the visit, King Abdullah also toured the PSD's Command and Control Center, where he was briefed about duties and tasks of the center, the modernization process it underwent as well as methods adopted to receive complaints and deal with them in a speedy and accurate manner.
The King expressed pride in the advanced level the center has reached in providing services to citizens.
