King congratulates Jordanian gold medalist Ahmed Abu Ghaush

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, Friday, expressed pride and happiness over the first ever Jordan Olympics Gold Medal, which Jordanian Taekwondo fighter Ahmed Abu Ghaush won yesterday.

During a telephone conversation with the gold medalist, King Abdullah congratulated Abu Ghaush for raising the Jordanian flag in the Olympic Games, currently underway in Brazil.

Jordanian Taekwondo fighter Ahmed Abu Ghaush won Jordan’s first-ever Olympic Gold medal. The 20-year-old student defeated Russia's Alexey Denisenko in a 68-kilogram division gold medal match 10-6.
