Jordan voices concern over unrest in Turkey

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan has voiced its concern over the unrest in Turkey in which dozens were killed and hundreds were injured.

State Minister for Media Affairs and the Government Spokesperson, Mohammad Momani, said the stability of Turkey is important for the stability and security of the region due to the role that Turkey plays to enhance cooperation among countries and peoples of the region.

Momani voiced hope that what had happened will not affect Turkey's important role in fighting terrorism and its gangs.

He also expressed hope that Turkey will overcome this ordeal and maintain the unity of its institutions.
