King patronizes ceremony of King Abdullah II Center for Excellence

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Wednesday, patronized the ceremony of the 2014/2015 winners of the King Abdullah awards for excellence from public, private, business associations sectors and non-profit organizations, organized by the King Abdullah II Center for Excellence (KACE).

This years ceremony coincides with the 10 anniversary of the establishment of the KACE that aims to spread the culture of excellence.

Before the ceremony, King Abdullah toured an exhibition that included models for each award, and was briefed by the KACE CEO Yasera Ghouseh, about the award's development, classifications and the number of participating institutions since its establishment.

The King also watched a short film on the KACE's workshops, conferences, success stories of government and private institutions' employees, who had previously won the awards.

In the presence of HRH Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, KACE Chairman of the Board of Trustees, His Majesty presented the awards to the winners including ministries, institutions and individuals

During the ceremony, a short film was played on the stages of the King Abdullah awards for Excellence since its establishment and KACE's achievements during the past 10 years. The film also highlighted mechanisms for choosing the award wining individuals and institutions in various sectors, based on transparency and justice.

The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour, KACE Vice Chairman, Royal Court Chief, Fayez Al Tarawneh, acting Senate president, acting Lower House speaker and a number of senior civic and military officials.
