Ammon News - AMMONNEWS— Voting for the 10 winners for Ahel Al Himmeh initiative that Her Majesty Queen Rania launched last March starts today.

Mobile subscribers can vote for 10 different persons or groups from the 29 nominees until June 16, by sending a free SMS to the number 94040 with the name or the number of the candidate in Arabic or English.

According to Ahel Al Himmeh website a seed fund of JD30, 000 will be given to each winner to support his/her/their endeavors. As well as 10 scholarships named after each winner.

Her Majesty the Queen launched the initiative in celebration of the 10th year anniversary of His Majesty King Abdullah II’s formal accession to the Hashemite throne.

The award aims at highlighting the achievements of people who have helped their local communities.
