King visits the National Centre for Rehabilitation of Amputees

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, Arab Army, visited on Monday the National Center for Rehabilitation of Amputees at Al Hussein Medical Center, which was established in 2007 as a specialized center in this field.

Prosthetics department head, Col. Waleed Ada'ameh briefed His Majesty about the role of the section in rehabilitating military personnel and their families in order to pursue their normal life.

His Majesty accompanied by HRH prince Faisal bin Al-Hussein, HRH Prince Mired Bin Raad president of the Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers, King's Advisor for Military Affairs and Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff, Royal Medical Services Director and Royal Rehabilitation Center Director, looked into the workflow in the center's sections as well as the medical and operational tasks, carried out by a specialized medical and technical cadre.

His Majesty has recently asked the concerned officials at the Jordan Armed Forces and the Royal Medical Services to provide the Center with prosthetic limbs to help disabled military personnel who suffered injuries during their service.
