Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A cold air mass is expected today and Tuesday; therefore, the weather will be relatively cold and dusty with the appearance of clouds at various altitudes.

On Tuesday night, the Kingdom will be affected by a depression accompanied by a polar air mass centered over southern Turkey; therefore, clouds will gradually build up in the northern and central parts of the country creating partly cloudy to cloudy weather with a chance for scattered showers in the northern regions while winds will be southwesterly brisk with strong gusts.

The polar air mass will deepen on Wednesday creating a tangible in mercury levels especially in the northern and central areas and the weather will be chilly and cloudy with rainfall accompanied with thunder and hail at times.

Snow fall is also forecast over the hilly areas while winds will be westerly to south westerly brisk with strong gusts.

Maximum temperatures in Amman for today are expected to reach a high of 14 degrees Celsius dropping down to 5 degrees at night.
