U.S. ambassador, congressmen visit northern borders

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - United States Ambassador to Jordan, Stuart E. Jones, and a number of U.S. congress members, on Saturday, visited the Kingdom's northern borders and were briefed by the commander of the border guards on duties and efforts they exert especially with regards to Syrian refugees who cross into Jordan almost on a daily basis.

The commander of the border guards told the delegation that his troops have been exerting relentless efforts to secure the entry of the Syrian refugees and provide them with all services they need before they are sent to designated refugees camps.

The ambassador and the delegation hailed Jordan's efforts and they humanitarian treatment it offers to a huge number of Syrian refugees on its territory.
