Parliamentary delegation starts visit to European Parliament

Ammon News - A delegation comprising heads and representatives of parliamentary blocs in the Lower House of Parliament started a visited to Brussels at the invitation of the European Parliament.

Earlier, Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh received a letter from President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz, who praised cooperation with Jordan as well as the Kingdom's advanced status with the European Union. Schulz extended an invitation to a delegation representing parliamentary blocs to visit the European Parliament to exchange view on political blocs in the European and Jordanian parliaments and enhance their role.
