A security source said that a 21-year old man stabbed his 28-year sister seven times in various parts of her body. The woman reportedly died at the scene, her body was transferred to the Northern Center for Forensic Medicine for a post-mortem examination. The brother turned himself in to the local police precinct in Irbid governorate. Authorities launched an investigation into the incident, the police source added.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A young man on Tuesday evening stabbed his sister to death in the Irbid refugee camp in northern Jordan.

A security source said that a 21-year old man stabbed his 28-year sister seven times in various parts of her body.

The woman reportedly died at the scene, her body was transferred to the Northern Center for Forensic Medicine for a post-mortem examination.

The brother turned himself in to the local police precinct in Irbid governorate.

Authorities launched an investigation into the incident, the police source added.
