42 lawmakers, officials to be referred to court

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Justice's Financial Disclosure Bureau is expected to refer to the Public Prosecutor 42 current and former lawmakers and government officials for violating the regulations of Financial Disclosure Law.

The department asked the Minister of Justice to refer the cases of 4 current ministers, 8 former ministers, and 21 current deputies at the Lower House and 9 former MPs to the public prosecutor after they failed to present their financial disclosure within the legal deadline.

The current and former ministers were legally informed that they must appear before the department to provide their financial disclosure in accordance with the law, Addustour daily reported.
