Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The US Ambassador to Jordan stressed on Wednesday his country's support for Jordan's reform efforts on the political and economic levels.

In a meeting with Minister of Interior Hussein Majali on Wednesday, US Ambassador Stuart Jones said that Jordan is heading in the right direction in the service of its people and the region, and in improving the economic conditions to become a model in the region.

Jones discussed with Majali means of boosting bilateral relations between the two countries, and agreed on the need to continue cooperative efforts in the interest of the two countries.

Majali stressed that Jordan's relations with the United States continues to witness tangible progress, with positive impact reflected on the economic and political sectors.

Majali commended the US support for Jordan in implementing its reform efforts and development projects in an effort to overcome political and economic challenges facing the nation, Jordan News Agency Petra reported.
