Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) — The Cabinet on Monday endorsed the by-law for organizational structures at government ministries and departments for 2013.

The number of new vacancies pending appointment through the Civil Service Bureau totaled 10,396, of which 9,000 are in the Education Ministry, 3,821 in the Health Ministry and 575 are in other agencies.

During a session, the Cabinet said no one will be recruited to these posts without seeking the opinion of the State Budget Department to make sure that the financial allocations for the appointments are available.

The Council of Ministers also decided to place those appointments outside the government’s system before February 6, 2013 on the regular payroll.

Also on Monday, the Cabinet approved Thailand’s request to transfer the authority of its ambassadors in Lebanon and Syria to its envoy in Amman.
