Aircraft carrying injured pilgrims lands in Amman

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) — An aircraft carrying injured Jordanians and bodies of pilgrims who died in a road accident in Saudi Arabia last Thursday landed at Marka airport on Sunday.

The aircraft was dispatched to Saudi Arabia immediately after the accident to bring home the bodies of the Jordanian pilgrims and transport the injured to local hospitals, upon His Majesty King Abdullah's directives.

Twelve people were killed and 19 others were injured in the accident.
