Workshop highlights Jordan's professionalism in migration management

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) - The International Organization for Migration has organized a workshop on migration management at the Dead Sea shores.

Participants in the workshop hailed Jordan's expertise in migration management, noting the Kingdom's professionalism in dealing with the large number of Syrian refugees as well as the previous exodus of refugees, including Palestinian and Iraqis.

The participants also affirmed that immigration has negative social, economic and political consequences, such as poverty, family disintegration and poor accommodation, poor borders security and others.
