Jordanian dies in Maeen Springs rock collapse

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A Jordanian man died on Thursday when rocks collapsed on him in the Ma'een hot water springs tourist location.

The 31-year old man sustained serious injuries throughout his body. Madaba governorate Civil Defense cadres performed first aid treatment and rushed him to Al Nadim state-run hospital in Madaba but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

In another incident, the Civil Defense Department (CDD) said that its cadres extinguished a fire that erupted in the Hussein Sports City in Amman, engulfing over 15 dunums of woodlands.
