Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) – The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs affirmed that all Jordanians in Iran are safe after an earthquake struck Iran and led to many casualties and injuries in the country.
The ministry spokesman Sabah Rafii told "Petra" on Wednesday that the ministry was supervising the situation by communicating with the Jordanian embassy in Tehran, which had confirmed that there were no casualties and injuries among Jordanians.
Rafii noted that the Jordanian embassy in Iran had been in contact with Jordanian citizens, the Iranian Red Crescent and other concerned authorities, ever since the earthquake occurred, to gauge the situation of Jordanian citizens in the country.
