The quote by Narcotic Anonymous originally attributed to Albert Einstein that states "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results" clearly personifies the Palestinian Israeli conflict of today.

The Palestinian Authority and Leadership, in fact I would venture to say the entire Arab Middle East has for a long time but more recently been doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. This is truly the definition of insanity.

They have tried everything actually believing that there is a chance for a peace settlement between them and the “Israeli” Zionist regime which functions today in the history of Judaism the same as a false messianic movement of Sabbativi Zeviin of the 1700’s.

They have sat and negotiated, cajoled, debated, rioted, and even have resorted to begging everyone within earshot that they should have justice, peace and a place to call their own ( as if they were never the indigenous people of the land in the first place).

They even got the Arab League to endorse a historic proposition that if “Israel” recedes to the original 1967 borders that full recognition of the “Israeli” State is on the table. They have done this some many times and have gotten the same results from the other side; the usurping of more land that is legally not theirs for newer settlements, apartheid rule, incarceration, enslavement, and death of its people, that my friends this is truly the definition of insanity.

Like addicts they tell themselves every time that if they try this again they can make it work. They are even promised that if they bargain some more somehow things will change and they will not get hooked in another death struggle with this entity. They are told if they gave some more of the land away and do not allow their own people back who are really the ones in a diaspora, this entity would bargain with them in good faith. However; reality and facts on the ground tell otherwise. This cycle must stop and it must stop today.

The Palestinian and Arab leadership can take guidance from some of the steps of Narcotics Anonymous:

1. They can admit that they are presently powerless over their enemy and that the condition of their people has become unmanageable.

2. They can admit their wrong doings to their people and ask for forgiveness from them for the stupidity that they have been subjecting them to over the years.

3. That they take inventory of all their wrong actions and make amends for them, by never repeating them again and again ad- nauseam that their people stop believing in them and their ability to lead them.

4. That they can believe that a greater power than themselves can restore them back to their sanity.

The Palestinian and the entire Arab leadership need to get back to what makes sense. The Zionist is doing it every day no matter where he is, and he has inculcated even the people whom have persecuted him in the past in believing that God has given him and him alone the right to the land.

He through his control over the world media (poor Al-Jazeera still has not gotten permission to setup a news channel in areas where they dominate), and through money and banking, has demanded and gotten weapons and strategic alliances from almost every present powerful nation on earth.

He has not allowed anyone to deter him from his goal of ethnic cleansing of the Arab population (Moslem and Christian alike). First during the 1948 Nakbah after being provided a land promised to him by those who never owned it, and now from the territories he has occupied since 1967.

The Zionist has even given different names to the occupied 1967 territories so he can tell the world his most famous lie of how he has come to return to the "Greater" land of the diaspora. This big fat lie that he keeps telling is so untrue that his own founding fathers have acknowledged that is not true, when confronted with the actual facts and history.

Does he stop; no he spins this ethnic cleansing of the indigenous people as a necessity for his survival. He does not allow any request or form of persuasion to the contrary from this position even by the
leadership of his major supporter. Where a day ago this very leadership was paraded and allowed to kowtow and genuflect before the master mind of this historic "Nakbah", Theodore Herzel the father and messianic leader of Zionism.

He insures that anyone (man or country) opposing his views through evil whispers like a devil is demonized, ostracized and brought to its knees, not by his hands but by others more powerful. He makes sure that it is left divided and weakened just like a pusher to a heroin addict such that they cannot fight back.

He understands only that might makes right. So the Palestinian and Arab leadership must wake up from their stupor and the repetitive insanity and get back to reality and to what he understands; or they
can sit and watch and repeat daily what has never worked till nothing is left and death overtakes them all.
