Anti-Corruption refers 3 charity officials to court

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Public Prosecutor decided to refer three charity organization workers to the criminal court on charges of bribery and accessory to abuse of office.

ACC said that the commission council referred three workers in the charity organization sector to the public prosecutor last August on suspicion of corruption and ordered their suspension from their positions.

The judge decided to refer Mamdouh Hussein Sulaiman, head of the Madaba Charity Association, to the criminal court on allegations of request of bribery and abuse of power.

The prosecutor also charged Mahmoud Suleiman Harahsheh with criminal fraud, and Majed Qaqish with theft and offer of bribery.
