Jordan, Indonesia discuss labor cooperation

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) Minister of Labor Nidal Qatamin and Indonesian Ambassador to Jordan Teguh Wardoyoon Thursday discussed bilateral cooperation in labor domains.

The two sides also discussed means to solve the problem of Indonesian domestic helpers at the Indonesian embassy in Amman in a way that guarantees their rights.

The government, the minister said, is keen to follow up on cases of laborers in the Kingdom as well as fighting human trafficking.

The envoy, for his part, welcomed the government steps to solve all standing cases of Indonesian domestic helpers, especially those at the embassy.
