Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Independent Elections Commission (IEC) Special Commission announced the winners of the 27 seats allocated to the Nation-wide Lists, out of a total of 150 seats in the 17th Lower House of Parliament.
Head of the IEC Special Commission delegated with scrutinizing the final results of the parliamentary elections, Mohammad Hamdan, announced the final results after noting that the commission was unable to announce final results until all ballot boxes have been sorted and counted.
IEC announced the names of the National Lists that won seats in the 27-seats allocated for the Public District, they include:
Al Wasat al Islami (Islamist Centrist) - 3 seats (Mohammad Al Hajj, Zakariyah Al Shaikh, Mustafa Al Amawi)
Al Itihad al Watani (National Union) - 2 seats (Mohammad Al Khushman, Abdul Majid al-Aqtash)
Watan (Nation) - 2 seats (Atef al-Tarawneh, Khamis Attiyah)
Urdun Aqwa (Stronger Jordan) - 2 seats (Rula al-Huroub, Munir Zawaydeh)
Sawt al Watan (Voice of the Nation) - 1 seat (Haitham Abbadi)
Al Fajr (Dawn) - 1 seat (Sa'ad al-Balawi)
