Election Results: Women's Quota

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Independent Elections Commission (IEC) announced the preliminary winners of the 15 seats allocated to the women's quota, out of a total of 150 seats in the 17th Lower House of Parliament.

The results will be referred to the IEC President for official announcement.

The female candidates who won seats running under the women's quota and the percentage of votes are:

Amman - Na'ayim Ajarmeh 8.53%
Irbid - Fatimah Abu Attah 13.15%
Balqaa - Amen Gharaghir 11.73 %
Karak - Hamdiyyah Qwaider Hamaydeh 17.33 %
Ma'an - Faten Khleifat 14.30 %
Mafraq - Reem Abu Dalbouh
Tafileh - Insaaf Khawaldeh 12.28 %
Zarqa - Rudaynah al-Atti 8.10 %
Madaba - Falak Jama'ani 20.06 %
Jerash - Najah al-Azzeh 3.46 %
Ajloun - Khuloud Khatatbeh 9.39 %
Northern Badia - Myassar Sardiyyah 5.0 %
Central Badia - Hind al-Fayez 2.77 %
Southern Badia - Shaha Abu Shusheh 3.71 %
