Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A number of elderly and illiterate voters in the capital Amman voiced their complaints on Wednesday of lack of cooperation from voting committees at voting stations in Eastern Amman.

Companions aiding the elderly and illiterate voters were not allowed to accompany their voting relatives into the voting stations, leaving them without any help especially that they need directives to explain the voting procedure and to help them get in and out of the buildings, the voters told Ammon News over the phone.

Elections observers noted that nearly 100 voters casted their ballots as illiterate elderly voters.
