Tafileh women trained in decision making

Ammon News - TAFILEH — (Petra) Around 20 training courses on women’s issues have been implemented under the third phase of the Strengthen Women’s Voice and Advocacy Initiative (Makana 3) in Tafileh Governorate.

The courses have so far benefited 125 people, according to project coordinator Khaled Khawaldeh, who noted that the one-year project, which started in March, seeks to improve the participation of Jordanian women in public life and in decision making.

The project is implemented by CARE International/Jordan and the Netherlands embassy.
