The two leaders also discussed developments in the region, and means to enhance bilateral ties in various fields. Thursday's contact comes as part of continuous coordination and consultation between the King and the Egyptian president towards reconciliation efforts, peace negotiations resumption, regional developments, especially the situation in Syria, as well as means to enhance bilateral ties to serve joint interests.

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra)His Majesty King Abdullah II on Thursday received a phone call from Egyptian President Mohammad Mursi, who briefed the King on Egypt's efforts to support chances of Palestinian reconciliation as well as peace resumption efforts.

The two leaders also discussed developments in the region, and means to enhance bilateral ties in various fields.
