Arab League to dispatch delegation to monitor Jordanian elections

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A source from the Arab League said on Monday that Secretary General Nabil Al-Arabi has decided to form a delegation of experts from the League to participate as observers in Jordanian parliamentary election scheduled on January 23rd Kuwait News Agency reported on Tuesday.

The source said in a press statement that Al-Arabi received an invitation from the Jordanian Higher Election Committee Chairman Abdul-Elah Al-Khatib to monitor the election process, adding that the League's oversight delegation will include 15 members and assistants.

According to KUNA ,the League will dispatch, during the next few days, a delegation to Amman to meet with government representatives in order to get acquainted with various political parties and their views regarding the election process.
