PM visits Jordan Media Institute

Ammon News - Amman, (Petra)--Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Sunday visited Jordan Media Institute (JMI) where he was briefed by Her Royal Highness Princess Rym Ali on the institute which offers a one–year practical Masters degree in journalism and New Media.

Princess Rym highlighted the important role of the JIM in developing the media sector in the Kingdom through focusing on practical training whether through the master's program or through training courses.

She said that 20 students from Jordan and Arab countries are currently studying at the institute, adding that many of its previous graduates are working at renowned media institutions.

The prime minister toured facilities of the institute, met with students and exchanged views on the teaching process and media techniques used to develop their skills.
