Ammon News - Amman, (Petra) - Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications, Minister of Culture and Chairman of Board of Directors of Jordan News Agency (Petra), Samih Maaytah discussed with Secretary General of the Arab Media Forum Madi Khamis means of boosting ties between Jordan and the forum.

Maaytah, who is also Government Spokesperson, delivered a briefing on the Jordanian media system and its current and future plans to improve performance and response to the requirements of the phase.

During his visit, Khamis also met with General Director of "Petra" Faisal Shboul and Jordan Radio and Television Corporation Director General Ramadan Rawashdeh stressing that the visit aims at supporting the joint cooperation between the forum and a number of Jordanian media institutions.
