Customs personnel foil attempt to smuggle wild livings

Ammon News - Amman, (Petra) - Jordan Customs Department (JCD) personnel at Al-Ramtha border crossing foiled an attempt to smuggle different kinds of wild birds into the country.

JCD personnel also foiled an attempt to smuggle a tiger, which belongs to an endangered species, inside one of the cars coming from a neighboring country.

JCD closely collaborate with the Royal Society for the Protection of Nature (RSPN) through the effective monitoring of borders as well as the export and import permits of the wild livings in order to prevent their hunting or trafficking for profit and commercial purposes.
