King leaves for UK

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) - His Majesty King Abdullah II on Tuesday left Amman for a working visit to the United Kingdom, during which he will meet British Prime Minister David Cameron and Foreign Minister William Hague and a number of senior officials and leaders.

Talks during the King's meetings will tackle regional developments in the Middle East, especially the Syrian crisis, means of motivating peace efforts based on the two-state solution and the European role in reviving the peace process and enhancing security and stability in the region.

Boosting the Jordanian-British ties will also be discussed during the meetings in London.

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein was sworn in as regent before cabinet members.
