PepsiCo-Jordan Organizes Pepsi Family Day for Its Employee

Ammon News - PepsiCo-Jordan- winner of the 2009 and 2011 King Abdullah II Award for Excellence - organized on Sunday 2nd December, 2012, an open day for the Company’s executive management team and employees, entitled Pepsi Family Day. Held at the Al Hussein Youth City, the open day was attended by PepsiCo-Jordan’s General Manager Eng. Nidal Hamam as well as the Company’s department heads.

Pepsi Family Day was aimed at enhancing interaction amongst employees and recognizing their dedicated efforts which have enabled PepsiCo-Jordan to maintain its leading market position. Held amidst a warm family atmosphere, the open day commenced at 6 am and concluded at 10 pm, and also included a luncheon and entertainment.

Eng. Hamam welcomed PepsiCo-Jordan’semployees and affirmed that they are the cornerstone of the Company’s success. He went on to highlight PepsiCo-Jordan’s recent accomplishments and reaffirmed the Company’s ongoing efforts to provide employees with a comfortable and positive work environment that promotes productivity. Hamam explained that this approach corresponds with PepsiCo-Jordan’s corporate strategy which places special emphasis on supporting, encouraging and motivating employees to continuously improve their performance and develop their professional skills.

Additionally, PepsiCo-Jordan’s Human Resources Manager Hawar Hijazi laudedthe employees’ team spirit and stressed the importance of perseverance in advancing their professional careers, which in turn positively impacts both the Company and its staff.

Pepsi Family Day featured a number of competitions, as well as a motivational speech by Jordanian mountaineer Mostafa Salameh who reaffirmed the key role of determination in overcoming challenges and achieving success. At the end of the open day, Hamam announced that due to PepsiCo-Jordan’s recent positive results, the Companyis giving away JD 150 to all employees ranked at L3 or below.
