Jordan participates in International Culture Summit in Edinburgh

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS-Minister of Culture Salah Jarrar will participate in the first International Culture Summit to be held in Edinburgh, Scotland, from August 13-15 under the theme: 'Culture as an International Dialogue'.

In a press release, Jarrar said that the summit will bring together culture ministers with prominent artists, thinkers and others involved in developing and implementing cultural policy to discuss the use and value of arts, culture and creative industries, as well as their role in encouraging dialogue among nations.

The summit will also tackle the role of arts and culture in deepening understanding of the relationships between cultures and nations, sustaining private and public support for culture as well as future skills for creative industries and the role of technology.

The minister will hold meetings with the management of the Edinburgh Book Fair on the sidelines of the conference.
