Ammon News - AMMONNEWS – Chef Yousif Jalajel from Radisson Blu Tala Bay, Aqaba, achieved best chef during the Junior Culinary Challenge, which was held at the Royal Academy for Culinary Art – Amman, in collaboration with the French Institute.
Jalajel was awarded with the Silver Medal for achieving the highest success rate of 98%, it is worth noting that the Gold Medal is 98% and no other participating chef achieved this rate. Yousif gained this rank by creating three outstanding main courses, and a range of desserts, which he prepared in an astonishing, expert manner, his courses where then judged by a panel of six chefs from five star hotels.
Chef Yousif was awarded after the competition held on March 31 2012, with the opportunity to travel to France for a three-month course at Michelin Chef Restaurant. He will be trained by the best international chefs and specialists in culinary arts, the experience he will gain will be reflected in the delicious dishes to Radisson Blu Tala Bay Resort, Aqaba visitors.
