Detained activists to start hunger strike, PSD denies news as "baseless"

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS — a number of detained activists who were jailed over 4th circle and Tafilah protests, decided to go on hunger strike on Saturday in Zarqa and Mwaqar Correctional and Rehabilitation Centres, while the Public Security Department denied the reported hunger stike as groundless.

On Friday, local news outlets reported that many of the detainees will go on hunger strike in protest of keep them in jail. However, Public Security Department (PSD) source told Ammon News that there is no hunger strike.
