G4S Keen Into The Hospitality Sector

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The tourism and the hospitality sector is one of the most important sectors in Jordan. G4S, one of the UK’s world’s largest security companies headquartered in the UK, has a range of security solutions that could greatly benefit the local hospitality industry.

During a presentation at the British Ambassador’s Residence, Mohammad Al-Ali, the G4S Local Country Manager, briefed a group of hotel General Managers on G4S’s world class services. He explained that his company could support the local hospitality sector by helping to a safe and secure environment for recreation and leisure. Mr. Al Ali added that G4S Jordan combines the group’s extensive experience and expertise with an understanding of the local market and its needs. By outsourcing such a significant function, hotels would have improved staff morale, increase occupancy rates and lower insurance premiums, which in turn would be good for local business and enhance Jordan’s global reputation too.

British Ambassador Peter Millett welcomed G4S’s initiative to present its services to key industry players. He said: “This initiative combines the best of British expertise and Jordanian hospitality. G4S is one of the world’s leading security firms. Their Its skills can make a major contribution to the reputation and credibility of Jordan’s crucial tourism sector. I wish the venture every success.”

Founded in 1982, G4S Jordan has over 9800 employees working from offices in Amman and Aqaba. The company provides integrated security solutions such as manned security, electronic security, Cash-in-Transit (CIT), secure storage, mobile teller services, facilities and event management.
