Ammon News - AMMONNEWS -His Majesty King Abdullah II said that the Jordanian individual is the most important component in the national equation, adding that he put the country on the map of international and regional and accomplishments and defiantly stood up to challenges to prove that Jordan is strong in knowledge, creativity and accomplishments.
In a letter to teachers and students on the occasion of the new scholastic year that was read by Minister of Education Tayseer Nuaimi at the Madaba Secondary School, the King stressed his support to teachers approach to establish their association.
"We are proud and supportive of teachers' keenness to place their expertise at the service of their noble mission," he added.
The King highlighted the role and efforts of civil society institutions as well as the private sector in reforming infrastructure of educational institutions and empowering teachers. "Such strategic national partnerships are an indication of the deep understanding that the positive impact of investing in Jordanians will reflect positively on all productive sectors in the country," His Majesty added.
The King's letter was read at all schools across the Kingdom where around 1.7 million students started the new scholastic year.
