Jordan's public debt rises to JD12 billion

Ammon News - AMMAN – Jordan's public debt rose by 4.5 percent by the end of May 2011 to JD11.980 Billion compared with JD11.462 Billion last year, according to figures published by the Ministry of Finance on Thursday.

The figures showed that the outstanding internal public debt in 2011 stood at JD7.371 Billion compared with JD6.852 Billion in 2010.

According to the figures, the net external public debt stood at JD4.609 Billion compared with JD4.610 Billion.
