King meets tribal leaders

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II on Tuesday expressed his pride in the Bani Hassan tribe and hailed the tribal community for its boundless allegiance and faith to their country.

The King told elders and dignitaries of the clan, one of the biggest in the Kingdom, during a visit to the Mafraq Governorate that their tribal community had a bright record of national belonging and unwavering loyalty to their country.

King Abdullah noted during the meeting in Balama that Bani Hassan tribe had an honourable history in defence of Jordan and its security and stability since the state was founded, the last of which was "the stand of faith to the homeland." His Majesty asked authorities to address all needs demanded by members of the tribe, which had an extended community in the governorates of Zarqa, Mafraq and Jerash.
