Ammon News - RAMALLAH --Medical staff at Jordan field hospital in the West Bank city of Ramallah treated on Monday more than 500 Palestinians from vairous parts of the West Bank.

Director of the hospital Dr. Hamid Mheirat told Petra's correspondent in Ramallah said that the number of Palestinians seeking treatment at the hospital have substantially increased due to the difficult living conditions facing Palestinians as a result of Israeli measures.

He said the hospital has been dispatched to the West Bank upon directives by His Majesty King Abdullah II since the beginning of the second Palestinian intifada in 2000, adding the hospital deals with 400-500 cases on daily basis.
