Ammon News - RAMTHA --Health Minister of the Iraqi region of Kurdistan Taher Hourani discussed scopes of cooperation with Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) and the King Abdullah University Hospital.

During a visit to the university, the minister, who was accompanied by a health delegation, signed two cooperation agreements with JUST and the King Abdullah University Hospital under which health cadres from the Health Ministry of the Iraqi region of Kurdistan will be trained at JUST.

The two sides will also exchange expertise, students and teaching staff.

Hourani told Petra that the agreements will open new horizons of cooperation between the two sides in the field of training, adding health cadres in Kurdistan region were in need of training and rehabilitation. (Petra)
