Ammon News - The media spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Abdulkareem Abu Dalo clarified details regarding a viral video of a person attempting to scam people by claiming ability to issue national numbers in return for fees.

Abu Dalo explained that the viral video is old, and was published outside the Kingdom in December 2024, noting that a circular was issued against the individual on December 22, 2024.

Furthermore, Abu Dalo affirmed that the defendant has been arrested and transferred to the Public Prosecutor of Amman for legal procedures.

He also explained that the accused has criminal restrictions, and is currently being held at the Muwaqqar Correction and Rehabilitation Center.
